Non-public fairness agency Bain is evaluating a possible takeover of automobile insurance coverage software program vendor CCC Clever Options (NASDAQ:CCCS).
Bain is one among a number of suitors which have expressed curiosity within the CCC Clever (CCCS), which is backed by PE agency Introduction Worldwide, in line with a Bloomberg report on Thursday, which cited acquainted individuals accustomed to the matter. No remaining resolution has been made and Bain may resolve in opposition to its pursuit of the Chicago-based firm.
The report comes after CCC (CCCS) shares rose 4% final Monday after a Reuters report that Introduction, which has a 56% stake within the firm, was exploring a sale of the corporate. CCC has a market cap of $7.7 billion.
Introduction agreed to take CCC public by a SPAC deal in February 2021.
