An 11-year-old businessman from Yonkers has received national recognition for his creations.
The hats of William Inlaw called Walni, or Inlaw spelled backwards, come in different colors and have different meanings.
He launched his brand Wednesday afternoon at West 60th Street in Manhattan.
Inlaw says he had the idea of creating this line after seeing his two older sisters harassed.
His idea is that hats promote positivity and are meant to inspire people to dream big.
Their hats were included in the 61st Grammy awards gift bag this year. These bags were given to presenters, nominees and prize winners.
A portion of the proceeds are being donated to Lock Arms and Link Dreams, a non-profit organization that supports children with learning disabilities.
